Where does the money go??
Since
most of the items have been donated to the club for the purpose of the raffle,
the proceeds will be split 50/50. 50% will be going to the MCRA
Air Fence Fund and the other 50% will be going to assist in offsetting
future Track Day expenses with the MCRA TD Expense Fund. Track Days track rental has
gone up every year and is getting to the point it is almost no longer affordable to the
average rider. To assist in keeping the future cost down for the rider and the
club, The MCRA has started the TD Expense Fund. Dollars raised in this fund will
be used for reducing these future expenses and therefore reducing the rider
costs of the future events. In the past years we have averaged around $2000 in the MCRA
Air Fence Fund and made the donation to the Road
Racing World Action Fund. Road Racing World Action Fund is the supplier of
the air fence used in many races/track days in the area.
What is the cost of a Raffle Ticket??
The
ticket price is ONLY $5 for one chance.
Naturally you are not limited to purchasing just one ticket. Multiple ticket
purchases will increase your odds of winning.
Only 200 tickets will be printed and available for sales. After those are sold
that is it!
How can I buy tickets??
Tickets will be available thru out
the year at any club function and most members will have tickets for purchase.
Tickets may be purchased on-line. Make a donation to the MCRA
Air Fence Fund and receive a Raffle Ticket for every $5 donation. Your
tickets will be mailed to your PayPal confirmed residential address.
When is the drawing scheduled??
Drawing to be held at the MCRA Christmas Party
(Saturday, Dec 5th, 2009) (Place is still to be announced). OR, if we
sell all the tickets before the Christmas Party, an announcement will be made of
the drawing new date. You DO NOT need to be present to win.
