Yes! We are doing it again!

In the year 2006 we successfully gave away a brand new 2006 ZX6R Kawasaki. CLICK HERE to see the winner being presented with the 2006 Raffle Bike. It was such a success that we will be raffling another bike in 2007.

This year we have changed "gears" a bit.

Why a dirt bike??
As most of the club riders/racers will say, they picked up most of their skills from dirt riding. Plus dirt riding between races and track days will keep you sharp.

Benefits:

No license required
Lower operating cost than a street bike
Cheaper tax/title costs

In addition to the above, the bike can be used for many purposes:

Pit bike
Trail bike for kids or adults
RACE bike for kids or adults
Excellent beginner/learner's bike

Where does the money go??
Just as with the past raffles, all the proceeds will go to the MCRA Air Fence Fund. In the year 2006 we raised $2000 in the MCRA Air Fence Fund and made the donation to the Road Racing World Action Fund. Road Racing World Action Fund is the supplier of the air fence used in many races/track days in the area.

What is the cost of a Raffle Ticket??
The ticket price will remain that same as last year, ONLY $10 for one chance. Naturally you are not limited to purchasing just one ticket. Multiple ticket purchases will increase your odds of winning. The maximum number of tickets to be sold is set at 500. This will net the club's Air Fence Fund with another $2000 donation for the 2007 year.

When is the drawing scheduled??
Drawing to be held at the MCRA Christmas Party OR if we reach the preset number of sales (500 tickets) in advance, there will be a public announcement of the early drawing date and place.

Where can I buy raffle tickets??
Raffle tickets will be available for purchase at ALL club functions, track days, rides, events and meetings. Just ask any MCRA member where to purchase your tickets. To purchase your tickets by mail, make your check ($10 - 1 ticket, $20 - 2 tickets, etc.) payable to MCRA and send it to:

Your Raffle ticket stub(s) will be mailed to you once your check has cleared.

Disclaimer: MCRA is a non-profit org. Proceeds from this bike raffle are solely for the Air Fence Fund. A pre-set number of tickets must be sold to qualify for the bike listed. In the event that there are not enough tickets sold, the raffle will be converted to a 50/50 in which the winner will receive 50% of the funds received.
