Monte Izatt #4

Starting his race career at the age of 8, Monte raced flat track in Southern Oregon thru the 80's on a Kawasaki 100cc green machine. While Kenny Roberts was king of the knee draggers, Monte soon traded in his "hot shoe" for some knee pucks and upgrade from the 100cc to a Kawi Ninja 600. Moved to central California and joined the A.F.M and successfully completed the Keith Codes Superbike school. Did some racing at Sears Point, Laguna Seca, Willow Springs and Button Willow with AMA greats Jason Pridmore, Steve Rapp, Doug Chandler and Steve Crevier taking spots on the grid. Soon learned that winning at such a level was very difficult!

Graduated from OSU and now working for an Engineering Firm in Tulsa, OK. Joining the MCRA in 2008, completed the MCRA Racer Licensing Clinic and immediately competed in the MCRA Challenge Series Race the same day. Unfortunately had some engine issues but none the less, I WAS OUT THERE!

Izatt Racing was started in 2002 in order to draw sponsors and fans. After 5 seasons, Izatt Racing has grown to a 3 bike team (#4 Jordan Suzuki, #24 Yoshimura Suzuki and #22 Muzzy Kawasaki) and has compiled several fans and sponsors over the years. Entering the 2008 season on the #4 Team Jordan Suzuki, his hopes of winning a championship were wiped out with a crash in May and a mechanical failure in July. Izatt Racing has plans on being a 2009 contender in the MCRA Challenge Series Races, so watch out guys and gals! :)

Age 8

2009 will also debut Teresa Izatt and her Honda RC-5 joining the Izatt Racing as a fourth team bike. Only being 2 years old, she is being equipped with the best. Expected to bring lots of fans and sponsors she will amaze everyone with her knee draggin style and precision throttle control.
