The MCRA has put together an exciting venue for the local racers. We call it the I-70 Challenge Series. At every trackday at approx 11:30 we will hold Race 1 and Approx 4:30 we will hold Race 2. That is right! We said RACES!! Hot lap, grid and RACE!

1.    PURPOSE:
The purpose of the I-70 Challenge Series is to provide a low cost venue for the local racers to race and promote an easier transition for the track day riders to become racers.

2.    LICENSE AND GENERAL INFORMATION:
All riders MUST have a current race license from an accredited race organization to enter the series. All riders will be required to show proof along with a current photo ID at the time of registration. Students of the MCRA Race License Clinic (that weekend) will receive a "by" and be able to register for races without purchasing a race license. They will need a race license for future registrations.

CLICK HERE to apply for a MCRA Race License ($50)(includes 2012 MCRA Membership)for the 2012 season

3.    GENERAL MACHINE AND EQUIPMENT REQUIREMENTS:
Bike and rider equipment requirements will be the same as those in the 2012 CCS Rulebook. (This includes number plate requirements, safety wiring (Basic 3) and antifreeze requirements). All bikes and gear will be tech inspected. The CCS rulebook can be found by clicking this link: CCS RULEBOOK LINK (adobe file 7.85 MB)

Race #1 (at approx 11:30) will be Expert GT and Amateur GT
